Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone, account type (homeowner, contractor, property manager, investor).
• Project data: properties, scopes, bids, contracts, messages, photos, warranties, utility info, and inbox emails you forward to your Home Hub.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We store transaction metadata (amount, status, milestone) but not full card numbers.
• Usage data: standard logs, device, IP, and analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

To provide the Service: render your dashboards, generate contracts, route payments and escrow, send notifications, run the AI features you invoke, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.

AI processing

When you use AI features (contract drafting, voice proposals, price analysis, etc.), the relevant content is sent to our AI providers under their data-protection terms. We do not allow your private project content to be used to train third-party foundation models.

Sharing

We share data with service providers strictly to run the Service: hosting and database (Supabase / Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), email (Mailgun), AI (Google, OpenAI via Lovable AI Gateway), e-signature (DocuSeal), and SMS (where enabled). We do not sell personal data.

Project member visibility

When you invite someone to a project, they can see the project data shared with them (scope, bids, messages, milestones). Contractor business details on your public profile are visible to anyone with the link.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active. After deletion or account closure, we remove or anonymize data on a rolling schedule, except where law requires us to retain (e.g., tax/payment records).

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data, and opt out of non-essential email. Email privacy@buildtrustai.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use TLS in transit, row-level security on the database, encrypted credentials, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure — report issues to security@buildtrustai.com.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post material changes here and notify you in-app or by email when appropriate.
